We are delighted to announce that we will be working alongside the Forest Town Nature Conservation Group on the new HLF-funded Spa Ponds Heritage Project.
We will be providing training and support for volunteers via a series of Heritage Workshops, exploring topics such as Documentary research, use of historical maps, landscape surveys and more. We will also be using LIDAR surveys and targeted geophysics to target, identify and record historical features within the Spa Ponds site……………[click to read more]
We have now written up our research on the role of Kelham in the Civil War, and it is available as a free download by clicking here.
We will be working alongside Involve Heritage CIC on a new year-long phase of work at Elmton on their Elmton Revealed! project, starting in September 2016.

The DNMGS project is now well underway, and results are starting to be posted on the project website.

The next part of the Bones Of Contention project is due to start in April 2016.
This will be the second installment of the two-term ‘Introduction to Human Remains’ course, and will run on Friday mornings 10am – 12noon at Southwell Library.
Further workshops are planned for the Spring, details to follow early in the new year.
